REUNION ISLAND: A FRENCH PARADISE

The Reunion Island is part of the France. However, the culture is pretty similar to Mauritian culture but with a European twist. Moreover, the similarities culturally speaking is very spot on because the ethnicities present on this Island is mostly from India, China, France, and from slavery in Africa. The Reunion Island is also full of gems in terms culture and wonders.

Piton de la Fournaise (Peak of the Furnace)

The volcano is situated in the southeast of the island. The Peak of the Furnace is still an active volcano and on top of that, it is one of the most active volcanoes in the world.

Boucan Canot Beach

The most popular beach on the entire island. Boucan Canot Beach is very peaceful and very relaxing for a day out at the beach. The nearest town to the beach is Saint-Gilles. This touristic beach is a very good spot for tanning, bathing, and for many activities that are available for tourists and the locals.

Saint-Paul Market

One of the biggest market and the most beautiful market on the island. The market is situated at the waterfront of the city of Saint-Paul. It has a big variety of products that can be bought by the Reunionese and by the tourists. The exhibitors offer local products that can be from vegetables and fruits to clothes and souvenirs gifts.
