What are the Mascarene Islands?
The group of Island is also known as “The Mascarenhas Archipelago”. The name is dedicated to the Portuguese navigator Pedro Mascarenhas who explored the archipelago in the 15th Century.
It is situated in the Indian Ocean near The Red Island (Madagascar). The archipelago compose of Mauritius Island, Reunion Island and Rodrigues Island. The area of the world is full of history and beautiful things that mouth-watering scenery. All the islands are rich of fauna and flora. Each island has its own culture, from european to asian culture and also from the slaves from Africa.
